Frequently asked questions
What services do you provide?
We help people compare Medicare Advantage (Part C), Prescription Drug Plans (Part D), and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) options. We'll explain benefits, costs, networks, and help you enroll — all with no pressure.
Do you charge for your help?
No. Our guidance and initial consultations are free for clients. Insurance carriers typically compensate agents for enrollment, so there is usually no fee for the consumer.
Are you affiliated with Medicare or the government?
We are an independent, licensed Medicare insurance agent(s) who can consult and enroll clients in a Medicare plan. We are appointed by a multitude of insurance companies. Whether you want Original Medicare or Medicare Advantage, we can help you through the Medicare process but we are not endorsed by the U.S. government, Medicare, or Medicaid.
Will you contact me after I submit the form?
Yes. After you submit the form we will contact you within one business day to schedule a short call and discuss your needs.
What information should I have ready for our call?
Helpful items: your Medicare card (if you have one), a list of medications (names, doses), current doctors you want to keep, and any current insurance plan details. If you don’t have these, we’ll still get started.
Do you represent all insurance companies?
No single agent represents every plan in every area. We are appointed with multiple major carriers so we can show several options — but we do not represent every plan available in your county.
When can I change plans?
Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs each year (Oct 15, 2026 – Dec 7, 2026) for most changes. There are other special enrollment periods for qualifying life events. We’ll explain which windows apply to your situation.
How is my personal information handled?
Your privacy is important. Information you submit is used only to compare plans and assist with enrollment. For details, please read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service (link at the bottom of this page).
Can you help me switch plans if I’m unhappy?
Yes. If you want to change plans, we’ll show you options and assist with the switching process during the appropriate enrollment period.
What areas do you serve?
We serve California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas. If you’re outside those areas, please check with us — we may still be able to help, or we'll refer you to a local licensed agent.
How soon will my coverage start after enrollment?
Coverage start dates depend on the plan and enrollment window. We’ll confirm exact effective dates during enrollment so you know when coverage begins.
How do I file a complaint about a plan or agent?
If you have a complaint regarding a plan or agent, contact the plan directly or your state’s Department of Insurance. If you’d like assistance, we’ll help you escalate the issue.
Can I get quotes and enroll on my own?
Yes. You can use our Sunfire portal to look up quotes and if you want to enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan or Medicare Supplemental plan, you can do so at that same site.
